Veterinary Assistant Duties
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during wellness and sick appointments
- Obtain patient histories and support accurate medical documentation
- Safely restrain patients during exams and procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized hospital environment
- Assist with basic laboratory procedures and hospital support tasks
- Support patient care and daily hospital workflow
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure efficient operations
- Answer phones and schedule appointments efficiently
- Check clients in and out while providing exceptional customer service
- Process payments and maintain accurate client records
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Support front desk workflow and daily hospital operations
- Help create a positive and welcoming experience for clients and patients alike
