VCA Bloomington Animal Hospital in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support patient care and the client experience. This full-time role offers a 4 x 10s schedule with rotating Saturdays and hands-on learning in a busy veterinary setting.

You will assist veterinarians and technicians, prepare treatment areas, restrain animals, administer medications, and maintain records while educating clients and upholding high sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Confident in restraint, medical records, and running diagnostic labs.

Schedule: Full-time opportunity, 4 x 10s, with rotating Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities

As a Veterinary Assistant , you'll play an important role in supporting both patient care and the client experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with animals, being part of a team, and gaining hands‑on experience in a veterinary setting.

Compensation: The starting range for Veterinary Assistants is $1 8.79 - 25.79 /hr and is determined by skill set, and years of experience in the field.

• Confident in restraint, medical records, and running diagnostic labs.
