BluePearl Summerville is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join our state-of-the-art hospital. You will design customized anesthetic protocols and lead anesthesia care across complex surgical and critical cases.

You will mentor clinicians and technicians, collaborate with surgical and internal medicine teams, and contribute to enhanced patient outcomes through safety-focused monitoring and pain management strategies.

Formación

• DVM or equivalent degree.
• Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Anesthesiology (ACVAA).
• Eligible for veterinary licensure in the applicable state.
• Expertise in anesthesia, pain management, and perioperative care.

Responsabilidades

• Design and oversee customized anesthetic protocols for complex cases.
• Provide pain management strategies tailored to each patient.
• Monitor and manage anesthesia for a wide range of surgeries and critical cases.
• Collaborate with surgical, internal medicine, and emergency teams.
• Train and mentor clinicians and technicians to advance anesthesia practices.
• Improve patient outcomes through high-safety anesthetic monitoring.

As a Veterinary Anesthesiologist , you will play a critical role in our hospital by:

• Proficiency in monitoring and managing anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and critical cases

• Collaborating closely with our surgical, internal medicine, and emergency teams.

• Training and mentoring clinicians and technicians to advance anesthesia best practices.

• Enhancing patient outcomes by ensuring the highest level of anesthetic safety and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree

• Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Anesthesiology (ACVAA or equivalent)

• Eligible for veterinary licensure in the applicable state

• Expertise in anesthesia protocols, pain management, and perioperative care
