BluePearl Levittown is seeking a full-time Veterinary Anesthesiologist to join our multidisciplinary team of specialists in Levittown, PA. The role involves providing anesthesia for diverse surgical and critical care cases, with emphasis on analgesia and patient monitoring.

You will collaborate with Radiology, Cardiology, Critical Care, Internal Medicine, and other departments, benefiting from advanced training opportunities and a production-based earning potential.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree and PA license required.
• Board-certified or residency-trained in Veterinary Anesthesiology (ACVAA or equivalent).
• Expertise in anesthesia protocols, analgesia, and perioperative patient management.
• Proficiency in monitoring anesthesia across diverse surgical and critical care cases.
• Strong knowledge of anesthetic equipment, ventilators, and patient monitoring systems.
• Ability to manage emergency and high-risk anesthesia cases.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary anesthesia for surgical and critical care cases.
• Monitor and adjust anesthesia depth and patient vitals throughout procedures.
• Develop and follow perioperative analgesia and monitoring plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons and specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
