Job summary

Colorado State University’s Veterinary Health System seeks an Advanced Imaging Technologist–MRI to lead clinical and research imaging using MRI, CT, and PET/CT. The role develops imaging protocols, performs advanced procedures, and ensures safe, efficient operation of imaging facilities.

The candidate will train faculty, staff, and students, coordinate scheduling, QA, and engage in collaborative projects with clinicians and researchers. A signing bonus/relocation may be negotiated.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health, life science, or related field plus five years of advanced imaging experience.
  • Alternatively, an associate’s degree in radiologic technology with longer relevant experience.
  • High school diploma plus ten years of advanced imaging experience.
  • Master’s degree in health or life science with two years of imaging experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, PET-CT) for clinical care, teaching, and research.
  • Coordinate imaging operations, scheduling, and workflows across the Veterinary Health System.
  • Perform advanced image analysis and post-processing with specialized software.
  • Manage imaging systems, PACS, RIS, databases, and study documentation.
