Job summary

ROYAL CANIN is seeking a Scientific Services Veterinarian (SSV) to elevate the brand through expert training, education, and ongoing support. Hybrid work model with travel up to 75% and occasional overnights; home-office work when not traveling.

Required: Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) with active license, 3+ years’ veterinary practice, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency. Travel is essential to support sales and education across the territory.

Qualifications

• DVM license active in at least one state.
• Minimum 3 years of veterinary practice experience (internships/residencies acceptable).
• Exceptional scientific communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Field Sales Teams to educate key recommenders and drive growth.
• Drive Nutrition Category Growth by partnering with referral hospitals.
• Support Strategic Accounts with regional medical leadership relationships.
• Develop KOL Networks to support veterinary education and outreach.
• Deliver Best-in-Class Training on Royal Canin nutrition to staff and partners.
• Foster Business Growth through cross-functional teamwork with sales.
• Offer Technical Expertise as a trusted resource for partners.
• Represent Royal Canin at veterinary conferences and events.
