Job summary

NOVA Cat Clinic in Arlington, VA is seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join our feline-only hospital. You will diagnose and treat cats, administer vaccines, perform dentals, and collaborate with referring veterinarians to deliver gold-standard feline care.

We value ongoing education and team collaboration and offer a modern hospital with strong support. Virginia licensure eligibility is required or anticipated.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred.
  • Internship training is also preferred but not required
  • Eligibility for Virginia Veterinary Licensure

Responsibilities

  • Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of cats, and treat surgically or medically
  • Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
  • Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
  • Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care
  • Perform dentals
  • Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all: staff, clients, and pets

NOVA Cat Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to our team. At our Rarebreed clinic, you can help reimagine the veterinary experience in your community. Our practice has also been certified by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP) as a Gold Cat Friendly Practice. This certification signifies that our clinic has achieved a higher standard of commitment to feline-specific care. As a cohesive team of veterinary professionals, we are lifelong learners equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources to deliver the highest quality of care.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 base salary + plus pro sal
