A partner hospital located in Montgomery, AL, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its multi-doctor, small animal practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian interested in working with both small animals and exotics, in a practice equipped with advanced technology, including endoscopy and ultrasound. The clinic offers customizable work schedules and promotes work-life balance, with shortened Saturday hours and a daily hour-long lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide exceptional care to patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
2. Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to ensure a positive and productive work environment
3. Build and maintain strong relationships within the practice and the local Montgomery community
4. Support the growth and development of support staff through the clinic’s internal LevelUp training program
5. Manage a varied caseload, including performing surgeries and appointments during open hours
6. Consult with clients to educate them on their pets’ health and provide treatment plans

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

1. DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
2. Active license in good standing to practice in the state of Alabama (or ability to obtain licensure)
3. Strong ability to provide comprehensive veterinary care, with a focus on both small animal and exotic species
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and the team
5. A commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to animals
