Experience & Skills Requirements

1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
2. State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the hiring state prior to start date.
3. Active DEA license or eligibility for licensure.

Prestonwood Pet Clinic seeks a Medical Director Veterinarian to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community. This role offers the benefits of a local community hospital with the support of Thrive’s national resources.

About Our Hospital

Located in Dallas, Texas, we offer primary and specialty care for cats, dogs, and other small pets, including birds, reptiles, and exotics. Our services include dental, wellness, and preventive care for pets at every life stage. We also collaborate with sister practices for specialty referrals.

Our hours are Mon-Thu 8:00am-7:00pm, Fri 8:00am-6:00pm, and Sat 8:00am-2:00pm. We serve Dallas, Addison, Richardson, North Dallas, and Far North Dallas.
