Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the hiring state, prior to start date.
  • Active DEA license or eligible for DEA licensure.

Position Overview

Thrive Terrell Plaza seeks a Medical Director to join our team within the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

At Thrive Pet Healthcare, care is central to everything we do. We empower you to deliver exceptional pet and family care through our extensive network of over 400 clinics nationwide.

Our operational hours are Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm, and Saturday: 8:00am - 12:00pm.


Service Areas

Neighborhoods served include Olmos Park, Terrell Hills, and Alamo Heights.


Role Responsibilities
  • Support and mentor veterinarians to achieve medical excellence and improve patient outcomes through collaboration with practice managers and leadership.
  • Utilize leadership training and mentorship programs to develop your skills and advance your career.
  • Ensure high-quality patient care, aligned with our mission and standards.
