Qualifications

• DVM degree from AVMA-accredited school.
• Active veterinary license in the state of practice.
• Current DEA license for controlled substances.
• Current CSP license where applicable.
• USDA Category I accreditation or willingness to obtain within two months.
• Comfortable with anesthesia and routine surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care including exams, diagnoses, and preventive care.
• Perform surgeries such as spays/neuters, abdominal explorations, and mass removals.
• Perform dental procedures including exams, radiographs, extractions.
• Develop treatment plans for in-hospital and day-hospital patients; coordinate with referral hospitals as needed.
• Collaborate with hospital team; contribute to rounds and staff knowledge sharing.
