Job summary

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree and active CA veterinary license.
• Strong background in infectious diseases and emergency response duties.
• Experience with molecular diagnostics and high-throughput testing environments.
• Knowledge of QA/QC and safety in accredited laboratories.
• Ability to interpret test results and report to clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Serve as case coordinator for CAHFS Biotechnology and a backup for Bacteriology/Immunology.
• Review and interpret test findings; enter data into LIMS and finalize client reports.
• Act as primary reporter for Foreign Animal Disease reporting and outbreak response.
