is looking to add a full-time board-certified or residency-trained Criticalist to our well-established and growing 24-hour hospital.
Located in Marin County, about 15 minutes north of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge, our hospital is less than an hour's drive to Napa Valley, several bay and ocean beaches, Redwood forests, and less than 4 hours from Lake Tahoe and Yosemite National Park.
Our hospital has been serving the community for 25 years. Our growing team includes 15 experienced Emergency doctors (most with 10+ years’ experience), 2 Criticalists, 2 Internists, 2 Surgeons, a full-time Radiologist, a Neurologist, an Oncologist, a Cardiologist, and an Ophthalmologist. We also have an Emergency Veterinarian training program and will start a rotating internship in 2025.
We are a close-knit team, many of whom have been here for several years. In February 2025, we will move into a new 30,000 sq. ft. facility designed for our needs, featuring natural light, hilltop views, advanced imaging equipment, multiple ORs, a central ICU, and staff wellness rooms. Our equipment includes a Hamilton-C3 ventilator, Snyder oxygen units, a VCM machine, an in-house Blood Bank, and standard ICU equipment to provide high-quality care.
We seek a full-time Criticalist to join our Critical Care Department. The role involves collaborating with other specialists and the Emergency team to provide inpatient care and consultations. Responsibilities will be tailored with the candidate and may include daytime to evening hours with some weekend duties. The department primarily manages critically ill hospitalized patients in collaboration with various specialties. We value candidates passionate about mentoring support staff, interns, and trainees, and committed to excellent client service.
Base Pay: $200,000 - $230,000 USD
