Job description

Veterinarian Position at Western Veterinary Services, PC with an opportunity for couples and ownership

Do you have a passion for serving clients with exceptional, full-service medicine? Do you enjoy teaching and mentoring both clients and your team on how to prevent disease? Are you someone who dreams of joining a team dedicated to professional and personal development? We have the perfect opportunity for you to join our team!

Location

We have 2 offices in Western SD. The primary office is in Kadoka and the satellite office is in Philip. We are located half way between the Missouri River and the beautiful Black Hills on the northern rim of the Badlands and Buffalo Grasslands. There is ample opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to hunt, fish, and hike in these wide-open spaces.

Practice Overview

Established in 1978, Western Veterinary Services is a second-generation practice originating with the retiring veterinarians, Bill and Norma Headlee and carried on by their daughter, Corale. We are passionate about taking care of our clients, our community, and our team. We believe in serving our communities through a dedication to personalized service in a clinic-based setting. We have a newly updated facility with all the bells and whistles for equipment from ultrasound and digital x-ray to surgery suites with gas anesthesia and in-house blood work. We also have hydraulic chutes, hydraulic trim tables, padded equine surgery room and fully stocked vet trucks with Bowie vet boxes. In addition, our clients bring the individual animal cases to the clinic so doctors don’t live in their truck.
