All City Pet Care West in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our state-of-the-art, digital and paperless practice. This full-service, 5-doctor small animal hospital offers comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care in a brand-new facility opening January 2026.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from an accredited university.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in SD.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of veterinary medicine and ethics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to concerns.
• Performs exams and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures delivering high-quality care while minimizing stress.
• Communicates with clients on diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive care, and nutrition.
• Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and logs per hospital protocols.
• Stays current on advances in veterinary medicine.
• Assists in developing the paraprofessional team to ensure top-quality care.
• Represents the hospital positively in the professional community.
