Stoneledge Animal Hospital in Westbrook, ME is seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join our well-established, small-animal general practice with over 60 years of service. Salary ranges from $105,000 to $150,000 based on experience, with sign-on and relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree is required.
• New grads and experienced DVMs welcomed.
• Internship training is preferred but not required.
• Ability to attain ME Veterinary License.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets and treat surgically or medically.
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians and within our veterinary ecosystem.
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field.
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care.
• Perform dentals as needed.
• Keep accurate medical records.
• Contribute to a positive workplace for staff, clients, and pets.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets and treat surgically or medically
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care
• Perform dentals as needed
• Keep quality/accurate medical records
• Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all; staff, clients, and pets
