Job description

Brewer Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to our team.

Are you looking for a practice where you can deliver exceptional medicine, have the tools and support you need, and genuinely enjoy the people you work alongside? Our established three-doctor small animal practice in Brewer, Maine, is growing, and we’re looking for a veterinarian who values high-quality medicine, collaboration, and a great team culture.

Brewer Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, high-volume small animal practice with a loyal client base and a talented team committed to providing compassionate, exceptional care. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, IDEXX diagnostic equipment, and an impressive surgical suite—giving our doctors the resources to practice the level of medicine they’re proud of.

Just as important as the medicine is the environment in which you practice it. Our doctors and staff work closely together, support one another, and believe that professionalism and having fun at work can—and should—go hand in hand. You’ll have the opportunity to build lasting client relationships, collaborate with an experienced team, and make an impact in a practice where your experience and perspective are valued.

Brewer offers the kind of lifestyle that makes it easy to enjoy your time outside of the hospital. Located near the Maine coast, Acadia National Park, the Appalachian Trail, and Baxter State Park, the area offers incredible access to hiking, kayaking, skiing, camping, and year‑round outdoor recreation.

Nearby Bangor brings the convenience of a larger community, including an international airport just minutes away, along with a vibrant historic downtown, local breweries, shops, restaurants, live music, and arts. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding veterinary career without sacrificing quality of life.

If you’re ready for a practice where you can feel valued, practice excellent medicine, and build a career and life you enjoy, we’d love to meet you.
