Have real influence as a Medical Director of this highly-regarded, small-animal hospital in St Charles, MO!

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to step into a leadership role with real influence over the future of a long-established practice. The hospital has built an excellent reputation in the community, along with a loyal, longstanding client base, and is now looking for a leader ready to come in and put their own stamp on things.

Housed in a gorgeous, standalone building, the hospital is a modern, state of the art facility thoughtfully designed around outstanding patient care, where every patient is welcomed like family. Doctors have access to five spacious exam rooms, a fully equipped treatment area, digital radiography, ultrasonography, and advanced diagnostic capabilities, along with modern surgical and dental equipment including heated surgical tables and electrosurgery units. The full service caseload spans wellness and preventive care, vaccinations, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, in house laboratory diagnostics, nutrition and behavior counseling, and urgent care.

As Medical Director, you will balance an active clinical caseload with leading and mentoring a team of veterinarians and support staff. You will have complete freedom to make the clinic your own, from shaping clinical standards and growing services to building a fun, collaborative culture centred around high-quality medicine and an outstanding client experience. An interest in surgery is preferable, with the resources and support in place to keep advancing your surgical skills.

The hospital is open Monday through Friday with no weekend requirements, and flexible scheduling options are available to support a healthy work-life balance.

St. Charles offers a charming historic district, great local dining, parks, and community events, all within a short drive of downtown St. Louis and the airport.

About You:

• DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
• You hold (or are eligible for) a Veterinary State License in Missouri
