Job description

Natomas Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced full-time Associate Veterinarian who wants more than just their next job. We’re a privately owned, 4-doctor small animal practice entering an exciting period of growth, including an expanded facility, additional exam rooms, extended operating hours, and continued development of our medical team. For more than 20 years, we’ve cared for pets and families throughout Sacramento, and we’ve been recognized by The Sacramento Bee as Best Veterinary Hospital in Sacramento for two consecutive years.

About the Role

We’re especially interested in a veterinarian who enjoys clinical problem-solving, surgery, teaching, mentoring, and helping improve how a hospital operates. This is an opportunity to become an important part of where the practice goes next—not simply fill a schedule.

Responsibilities

Practice a wide range of medicine, including:

• Preventive and wellness care
• Urgent and emergency presentations
• Complex internal medicine cases
• Dentistry
• Collaborative specialty care

Qualifications

2+ years of clinical experience

Graduate from AVMA accredited Veterinary School with Active CA Veterinary License

Pay range and compensation package

$175,000–$220,000 base salary + production-based compensation

• Three 12hr shifts or Four 10 hours shifts
• SIGN ON BONUS/ADVANCED EDUCATION BONUS (Advanced ultrasound training or Advanced Surgery training)
