Qualifications

• DVM / VMD (or equivalent) required.

• NAVLE certification and DEA/State/USDA licences (or ability to obtain).

Associate Veterinarian – Citrus Heights, CA | Up to $180k + Bonus | Exceptional Surgical Mentorship

The Practice

• Established small animal hospital serving the local community
• Dogs, cats and occasional exotic animal caseload
• Strong focus on wellness and preventative medicine alongside an advanced surgical caseload
• Average of approximately 12 appointments per veterinarian per day
• Excellent 3:1 technician-to-doctor support ratio
• Modern equipment including ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental radiography and comprehensive in-house laboratory
• Advanced surgical procedures including orthopaedic, soft tissue, reconstructive and oncologic surgery
• Supportive Medical Director providing outstanding mentorship for new graduates and career development for experienced veterinarians
