Job description

Huffard Animal Hospital in Pasadena, MD, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team!

About the Opportunity:

• General practice caseload including wellness visits, sick/injured appointments, surgeries, and dentals, plus a limited quota of same-day-sick visits
• ‘Flex Hour’ daily on weekdays to ensure reasonable workload and support for nursing mothers
• Access to local emergency hospitals and specialty practices for case transfer and guidance
• Full-time preferred, part-time considered

Schedule:

Alternating A/B schedule:

A:

• 2 day shifts 8a-3p (one surgical/dental)
• 2 evening shifts 12p-8p (one on-call overnight)

B:

• 2 day shifts 8a-3p (one surgical/dental)
• 1 evening shift 12p-8p (on-call overnight)
• Saturday 9a-3p, with roughly one Sunday every 6 weeks on-call for previously admitted pets

Schedules are posted 3 months in advance, with holiday on-call assignments provided at summer's end for the following year.

Facility Includes:

• Eight exam rooms, surgical/dental suites, ICU, digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house lab, and more
• Spacious waiting and treatment areas, dedicated hospital and boarding facilities

We Offer:

• $115,000 - $140,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
