Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency assessment, treatment, and critical care to canine and feline patients.
  • Prioritize and stabilize patients presenting with acute or life-threatening conditions.
  • Diagnose and manage a diverse caseload, including challenging medical and surgical emergencies.
  • Undertake appropriate emergency procedures and oversee patient care throughout treatment.
  • Interpret diagnostic findings and use available imaging and laboratory resources to guide treatment decisions.
  • Work closely with other veterinarians and clinical team members to develop effective case-management plans.
  • Discuss clinical findings, treatment recommendations, and prognoses clearly and compassionately with pet owners.
  • Support the continued development of hospital protocols and clinical standards.
  • Share knowledge and experience through team training, case discussions, and continuing education.
