Job summary

Mann Memorial Veterinary Clinic in Arundel, ME is seeking a compassionate veterinarian to join our team of four doctors and support staff. We are a full-service animal hospital serving Southern Maine for over 40 years with opportunities in surgery, dental care, ultrasonography, and preventive medicine.

Sign-on and relocation bonuses are eligible. You will diagnose and treat dogs and cats, collaborate with peers, pursue ongoing education, and help provide excellent care to pets and their families.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree required.
• 2+ years of veterinary hospital experience preferred.
• Internship training is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically.
• Collaborate with other veterinarians and communicate with referring vets.
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field.
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well-pet care.
• Perform dental procedures as needed.
• Contribute to making the workplace enjoyable for staff, clients, and pets.

We have been serving Southern Maine and the surrounding areas for over 40 years! We offer specialty surgery services, treat injuries, perform dental cleanings and dental radiography, have ultrasonography capabilities, and more. Through our quality work, attention to detail, and prompt service, we have built a solid reputation for customer satisfaction. Our mission is to provide our customers with the most professional, courteous service and quality workmanship, all at an affordable price. Our team is comprised of four wonderful veterinarians, four great veterinary technicians, and our amazing support staff.

What You'll Do

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
• Internship training is also preferred but not required
Ability to attain ME Veterinary License
• Employment will require the successful completion of references and background check.
