Job summary

UrgentVet in Katy, Texas is seeking a licensed DVM to join our after-hours urgent care team. This single-doctor shift model focuses on common urgent cases such as wound management, GI upset, and cat/dog emergencies, with cloud-based EMR and on-site IDEXX lab support.

You will work with a strong clinical and support team, grow relationships within the Houston community, and participate in LevelUp training for staff development.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited college or equivalent.
• Active state license to practice (or eligibility).

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Katy, Texas area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.
