American Veterinary Group is seeking a Full-Time Urgent Care Veterinarian for UrgentVet Hospitals in Cypress. This role focuses on after-hours, high-quality care for canine and feline patients with a relief on emergency clinic fees.

The clinic offers cloud EMR, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house labs to support efficient care. The position features flexible swing/second shifts, a strong technical team, and a commitment to Fear Free handling in a brand-new, modern facility.

Formación

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited college.
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state of employment.
• Successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program is acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership.
• Grow relationships within the Cypress/Houston community.
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours.
• Engage with LevelUp training program for staff development.

Description

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the
Houston, TX area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
