Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Building Commissioning Engineer (M.E./E.E.) to join our energy and sustainability focused engineering team on a hybrid schedule in Houston. The role involves commissioning and retro-commissioning of mid-size to large commercial facilities, with client and contractor-facing responsibilities.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of commissioning/energy experience, a Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, and strong knowledge of mechanical/HVAC systems, BAS,

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering
• 5 years Commissioning / Energy-related experience
• Working knowledge of mechanical/HVAC systems, BAS, and Controls Systems
• Certifications desired, EIT, PE, CEM, CCP, CPMP, BEAP, LEED AP is highly preferred, Not Required

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute commissioning projects from beginning to close-out.
• Lead and execute condition assessments and energy audits for existing facilities.
• Support the development of innovative energy concepts for new and existing buildings.
• Provide project management and coordination on small- and medium-sized projects to meet client expectations for technical excellence, budget, and schedule.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and other project team members.
• Produce summary reports and presentations and deliver them to clients, multidisciplinary project teams, and other relevant parties.
• Support business development activities including networking at industry events, developing, and maintaining client relationships, and preparation of proposals.

Commissioning Engineer (M.E./E.E.) ? Energy/AEC Consulting Firm
Salary: $90K to $120K (Plus Bonuses)

We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer with over 5 years of experience in commissioning and retro-commissioning new and existing facilities. The candidate should be comfortable meeting with clients and contractors, possess strong technical skills, and be able to perform equipment performance testing. Experience in BAS/BMS/control systems testing and integration is considered an advantage. Projects include mid-size to large commercial projects such as new buildings and existing facility upgrades.
