Practice Great Medicine. Make a Difference. Leave the Corporate Pressure Behind.
A brand-new veterinary practice in beautiful Southwest Florida is seeking General Practice Veterinarians to join our growing team.
We are hiring full-time veterinarians and are also open to relief and seasonal clinicians. Full-time schedules are available at either 32 or 40 hours per week, while seasonal and relief schedules and compensation are flexible and negotiable.
Opened in May 2026, our new 10,000-square-foot veterinary clinic was purpose-built for modern veterinary medicine. From our exam rooms and treatment area to our diagnostic, dental, surgical, and anesthesia equipment, everything is new.
We are building a full-service general practice where veterinarians have the tools and support to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative, non-corporate environment. Our clinicians are not paid on production and are not pressured to meet sales targets. Instead, our focus is on excellent patient care, sound medical decision-making, and maintaining a practice that is both accessible to our community and sustainable for the future.
Our veterinarians provide comprehensive general practice care, including:

You will work alongside an experienced veterinary support team in a collaborative environment with other veterinarians available for consultation and support.
We know the right opportunity doesn't look the same for every veterinarian.
Southwest Florida's seasonal community creates opportunities for veterinarians who may not be looking for a traditional year-round position. We are open to discussing seasonal employment as well as relief work, with schedules and compensation negotiable based on availability and the needs of the practice.
There is something else that makes this practice different.
Our veterinary clinic is owned and operated by Gulf Coast Humane Society, a nonprofit organization serving pets and the people who love them throughout Southwest Florida.
That means we are not a corporate veterinary practice. Our veterinarians are salaried rather than compensated based on production, allowing us to focus on providing excellent medicine while keeping quality veterinary care accessible to our community.
For our veterinarians, the impact extends beyond the exam room. Providing accessible veterinary care can help families address medical concerns earlier, manage chronic conditions, and keep beloved pets with the people who love them.
As a nonprofit organization, Gulf Coast Humane Society is also a qualifying employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program; individual eligibility is subject to federal program requirements.
If you are looking for a brand-new, modern practice where you can provide excellent medicine without corporate pressure, we would love to talk with you, whether you are looking for a full-time career opportunity, seasonal work, or relief shifts.
