Gulf Coast Humane Society is seeking General Practice Veterinarians for a brand-new Southwest Florida clinic. Full-time options include 32 or 40 hours; seasonal/relief roles are negotiable. Salaried, with no production-based pay, and comprehensive benefits.

The 10,000-square-foot facility offers modern diagnostic, dental, surgical, and anesthesia capabilities, with a mission-driven, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Current Florida veterinary license or ability to obtain Florida licensure prior to employment.
• Ability to provide high-quality general practice medicine and communicate effectively with clients and the veterinary team.
• Ability to navigate complex and emotionally sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion.
• Commitment to providing excellent patient care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
• All experience levels are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general practice care including wellness, illness and injury management.
• Perform diagnostics, treatment planning, and disease management in collaboration with the team.
• Offer dentistry, soft-tissue surgery and orthopedic procedures based on interest and experience.
• Support post-adoption medical care and client education.
• Collaborate with staff to maintain a high-quality, non-corporate clinic environment.
