Job summary

Petite Brook Veterinary Clinic in Colchester, VT is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join a brand-new facility with a warm, friendly staff. Located less than 15 miles from Burlington, the clinic emphasizes work-life balance and hands-on learning; hours are Mon–Fri, with Saturdays half-day and Sundays off.

You will examine, diagnose, and treat pets, collaborate with referring veterinarians, perform dentals, vaccinate, maintain medical records, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree required.
• VT veterinary license ability required.
• 2+ years of experience in veterinary medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically.
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians within our veterinary ecosystem.
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field.
• Administer core vaccinations and counsel clients in well pet care.
• Perform dentals as needed.
• Keep quality/accurate medical records.
• Contribute to making our workplace enjoyable for all.

Petit Brook Veterinary Clinic is a brand-new facility with an extremely warm and friendly staff! Our hospital is located less than 15 miles from bustling Burlington, Vermont with restaurants, shopping, and beautiful scenic views – perfect for exploring in all four seasons! We pride ourselves on maintaining a healthy team culture with work-life balance at the top of our priorities. We have a mandatory lunch break daily and foster a very hands-on learning environment. Salary: $100K-125K/yr

What You’ll Do

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
• Ability to attain Vermont Veterinary License
