An exciting opportunity is now available for a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a highly regarded, privately owned veterinary practice in Austin, TX.

The Role
The ideal candidate will have previous small animal clinical experience, with an internship or approximately 2+ years of experience preferred. However, exceptional new graduates with the right attitude and clinical interests will also be considered.
There is flexibility to tailor your caseload around your interests, with opportunities to focus more heavily on consultations, surgery, or a combination of both.
The hospital offers a varied and engaging caseload, providing excellent opportunities to develop advanced surgical and medical skills.
Typical schedule
- 4-day working week
- 8:00 AM-6:00 PM mid-week shifts
- One later mid-week shift of approximately 12:00 PM-8:00 PM
- Alternate Saturdays, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
- When working a Saturday, a half-day during the following week compensates for the additional hours
- No overnight or out-of-hours requirement
- Emergencies and walk-ins are accommodated during normal working hours
- Two-hour break during the middle of the day

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary approximately $130,000+, depending on experience
- Production-based compensation with 21% production
- Experienced Doctors are reportedly earning approximately $160,000-$200,000+ total annual compensation
- Approximately 15 days' PTO, plus public holidays
- 5 days of dedicated CE time
- Approximately $2,000 CE allowance
