A federal health service department is seeking a Blind Rehabilitation Outpatient Specialist to manage direct rehabilitation training for visually impaired Veterans. Candidates should possess relevant degrees and certifications from the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation & Education Professionals. Qualifications

• Must possess at least one unrestricted certification for appointment.
• Completion of one year of progressively complex experience equivalent to GS-9 level.
• Knowledge of motivational techniques for rehabilitation.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct rehabilitation training services to visually impaired Veterans.
• Identify and assess needs of Veterans using clinical resources.
• Develop and implement individual rehabilitation plans.

Knowledge of highly specialized complex evaluations
