Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a qualified Social Worker (GS-9/GS-11) to provide comprehensive psychosocial assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and coordinate care for Veterans and their families.

Qualified candidates will hold an MSW from an CSWE-accredited program and be licensed to practice social work. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; employment includes eligibility for EDRP benefits.

Qualifications

• MSW from an CSWE-accredited program; doctoral degree not substituted.
• Must be licensed or certified to practice social work independently.
• Knowledge of medical and mental health diagnoses and treatments.
