Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services seeks a full-time Polysomnographic Technician in Lakewood, WA, to support VA Puget Sound Health Care System – American Lake Division. The role covers night shifts, 6:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., with pay rate of $41.58/hr plus $5.42 H&W fringe.

You will conduct sleep studies, calibrate PSG equipment, and ensure data quality for veteran patients. Requirements include active sleep technologist license, BRPT RPSGT certification, and 2+ years of in-lab PSG/titration/HSAT

Qualifications

Active sleep technologist license as required by the issuing state.
Certified by accredited sleep technician training program.
Minimum 2 years’ experience independently performing sleep lab services including PSG, titration, HSAT, and scoring.
Active RPSGT certification issued by BRPT.

Responsibilities

Score sleep studies including respiratory events, sleep stages, arousals, and limb movements.
Prepare studies for interpretation with proper labeling and notes.
Set up and calibrate PSG equipment (16- and 32-channel).
Operate non-invasive monitoring systems for airflow, SpO2, CO2, ECG, and video.
Perform daily QC of sleep-lab equipment.
Document PAP use, tolerance, mask fit, and leaks.
Explain procedures and ensure patient comfort to optimize data quality.
