Loyal Source is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician for the VA Puget Sound Health Care System – American Lake Division in Lakewood, WA. The role focuses on efficient patient care for veterans with high productivity standards and strict data handling. NDA: notional, with a 24/7 operations backdrop and a 6:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.

Formación

• Must hold an active sleep technologist license as required by state
• Must be trained and certified by an accredited sleep technician training program
• Minimum 2 years of independent sleep lab experience including in-lab PSG, titration studies, HSAT, and scoring
• Active RPSGT certification issued by BRPT

Responsabilidades

• Event scoring of sleep studies (respiratory events, sleep states, arousals, limb movements, cardiac rhythm)
• Preparation of studies for interpretation with labeling, summary sheets, and notes
• Set-up, interface, and calibration of PSG equipment (16- or 32-channel)
• Operate non-invasive monitoring system (airflow, effort, oximetry, CO2, ECG, etc.)
• Daily quality control of sleep-lab equipment
• Document PAP tolerance, mask fit, leak, response and adjust PAP modalities
• Recognize events requiring PAP adjustment per AASM titration guidelines
• Organize patient charts, tracings, and notes for review and upload data per VA standards
• Shall not prescribe or dispense medications
• Ensure data and notes are uploaded to CPRS/HER systems
