Job summary

HMR Veterans Services is seeking a Laundry Staff for Clyde W. Cosper Texas State Veterans Home in Bonham, TX. This on-site, full-time role supports daily laundry operations to maintain a clean, sanitary environment for residents.

You will coordinate laundry services with nursing staff, handle linens, and ensure confidentiality and safety while respecting residents' rights and privacy. Training provided is included as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive criticism.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, staff and the public.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day Laundry Department operations.
• Coordinate laundry services with nursing staff in resident areas.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary work areas.
• Report occupational exposures per facility policies.
• Keep equipment cleaned and properly stored after shifts.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Respect residents' rights and privacy.
• Perform other related laundry tasks as assigned.
