Job summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs - Michael J Fitzmaurice Veterans Home in Hot Springs, SD is hiring for a full-time custodial and maintenance position. The role focuses on keeping resident rooms and public areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Supply and inventory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Primarily performs custodial duties and maintains high levels of cleanliness in resident rooms, restrooms and public areas.
• Includes some light maintenance duties such as repairing/painting walls and routine upkeep.
• Operates groundskeeping and cleaning equipment in all types of weather.
• Requires standing, bending and reaching for long periods.
