Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in student services preferred.
• Experience in financial aid, admissions, enrollment management, veteran's services, academic advising, registration, or related student services functions.
• Knowledge of financial aid programs, student eligibility requirements, enrollment processes, and higher education student support services.
• Proficiency with student information systems, integrated databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills with diverse populations.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and provide student-centered support services

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, accurate, and responsive customer service through in-person, phone, email, and virtual interactions.
• Counsel and assist prospective, incoming, returning, and continuing students with onboarding, academic planning, registration, financial aid, payment options, and other student services.
• Process student documents, complete data entry, maintain student records, schedule placement exams, and assist with student information updates.
• Act as a liaison between students, college departments, and external agencies to facilitate financial aid processing and student success initiatives.
• Gather, review, and interpret documentation to ensure accurate student records and timely processing of forms and transactions.
• Assist dual enrollment students with college financial planning, transfer planning, and post-high school enrollment preparation.
• Participate in college committees, outreach efforts, recruitment activities, and special events; recommend process improvements and operational enhancements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
