Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of experience and training. Completion of college-level work with major course work in business administration, finance, accounting, health care management, or a related field may be substituted for required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Income and asset review: Assess financial details for residents to determine and collect monthly fees
• Expense investigation: Review unusual expenses or questionable financial circumstances
• Fee adjustment processing: Calculate fee changes, prepare required forms, and communicate updated charges
• Benefit eligibility support: Complete Medicaid applications and review eligibility for federal and state programs
• Account verification: Maintain accurate electronic records by confirming credits, charges, and payments
• Resident correspondence: Respond to inquiries and complaints regarding monthly charges and estate billing
