Job summary

Pro Med HealthCare Services in Grand Junction, CO seeks a part-time VA Disability Assessment examiner. This in-person role pays $56.25/hour with a Monday-Tuesday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, two days a week.

You will conduct non-treatment compensation and pension exams for Veterans, using a web-based portal to document findings for VA decision-making. The examiner must hold an active NP or PA license and be proficient with EMR systems; VA/C&P experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
• EMR navigation proficiency
• Experience with VA C&P or DBQ process preferred

Responsibilities

• Read orders and review medical history, including service records.
• Explain the exam process to the veteran and confirm conditions.
• Complete DBQs and Medical Opinions via EMR during the exam.
• Order and interpret tests as needed and document findings.
• Submit exam documentation to the VA within 24-48 hours.
