Job summary

MRG Exams seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform Disability Assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA benefits process. You will review medical records electronically and conduct focused in-person exams, documenting findings via the web portal.

You will not treat or prescribe medications, and disability determinations are made by the VA. The role is in-person, part-time (1-2 days per week), and requires a current NP or PA license with NCCPA credentials.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current and unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Credentialing requirements per VA must be met.
• Ability to analyze medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.

Responsibilities

• Perform Disability Assessments on United States Veterans.
• Review medical records electronically and conduct a focused in-person exam.
• Document exam findings into the VA portal.
• You do not make disability determinations; the VA does.
• You will not treat or prescribe medications in this role.
• Typically assess 3–5 Veterans per day.
