Job summary

Primary Care Solutions is seeking a Medical Assistant to support Veterans with a welcoming, confidential environment. You will interview patients, record vitals, and assist providers during examinations, while handling forms and scheduling in a busy clinic.

Requirements include a Medical Assistant certificate, current MA certification, and proficiency with MS Office. You will work Mon-Fri 8:00am–4:30pm in a patient-centric setting with emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant certificate program.
• Current Medical Assistant certification.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Two years of clinical operations or medical office work post externship.
• Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record in EMR.
• Obtain medical histories and verify patient information.
• Prepare, assist, and complete forms as needed.
• Support patient care delivery and assist providers during exams.
• Take vital signs and perform ancillary tests per skill/certifications.
• Collect lab specimens and submit results to providers.
• Schedule appointments and manage check-in/check-out and reminders.
