Zusammenfassung

Primary Care Solutions (PCS) is seeking a Medical Assistant to welcome and support our Veterans in a confidential environment. You will interview patients, measure vital signs, document in the EMR, and assist providers during examinations.

The role requires a Medical Assistant certificate, current MA certification, CPR/BLS, and at least two years of clinical operations experience. Office hours are Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm with no evenings or weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant certificate program.
• Current MA certification is required.
• Two years of continuous clinical operations or medical office experience after externship.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, renewed annually.

Aufgaben

• Interviews patients, measures vital signs and records in the EMR.
• Obtain medical histories and verify patient information.
• Prepare, assist, and accurately complete all forms.
• Support patient care delivery and assist providers during examinations.
• Take vital signs and perform ancillary tests as certified.
• Collect lab specimens and submit results to providers.
• Schedule clinic appointments and verify clinical reminders at each visit.
