Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a Clinician to treat veterans and military personnel with PTSD, depression and addictions stemming from military operations. Roles include conducting psychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy, and discharge planning in inpatient or outpatient settings.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in a relevant field and licensing, with 2+ years of therapy experience, including work with veteran populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other recognized therapeutic field.
• State or national licensure for professional therapy providers required.
• Two or more years’ experience as a therapist with one or more years’ experience with the specific population of the facility required.

Responsibilities

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques to individuals and families for treating emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Conduct psychosocial assessment and develop an initial discharge plan.
• Conduct individual, group or family sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan of the patient.
• Provide initial treatment planning and coordinate additional services as needed.
• Maintain documentation of therapy services and maintain a caseload as assigned.
• Collaborate with treatment team meetings and other staff to facilitate services.
