Job summary

Harboroaks in Germantown, TN seeks a licensed behavioral health clinician to assess, diagnose and treat individuals and families with emotional and behavioral disorders in inpatient or outpatient settings.

You will conduct psychosocial assessments, provide psychotherapy, develop discharge plans, maintain documentation and collaborate with treatment teams; a Master’s degree and licensure with CPR/de-escalation certification are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or Human Services field required.
• One or more years’ experience working with comparable patient population required.

Responsibilities

• Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions to treat emotional and behavioral disorders.
• Conduct a psychosocial assessment and develop an initial discharge plan.
• Conduct individual, group or family sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan.
• Provide initial treatment planning based on assessment and coordinate additional services as needed.
• Maintain documentation of therapy services according to facility and professional standards.
• Maintain a caseload as assigned.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with staff to facilitate services.
• Provide services in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• May perform case management, discharge or aftercare planning as needed.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers; address complaints as needed.
