Job summary

CrescentCare in New Orleans, LA seeks a Part Time Behavioral Health Veteran Coordinator to support CCBHC clients with military experience, translating services and recovery, and aiding enrollment in VHA benefits.

You will document encounters in the EHR within 3 business days, participate in treatment team meetings, and attend agency-wide and supervisor meetings. Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or HiSET.
• One year of direct behavioral health experience.
• Must have military experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate and explain services and recovery to clients with military experience.
• Assist with enrollment in VHA benefits and navigation for clients.
• Document client encounters in the EHR within 3 business days.
• Attend treatment team meetings and other agency meetings.
• Provide peer support and guidance as needed.
