We’re looking for a Veterans Assistance Supervisor to join our team. This position is located in Calcasieu Parish. The Veterans Assistance Counselor Supervisor will serve as the office manager. The Incumbent functions in a public relations capacity in the parish where assigned. Directly supervises VAC 1/2 and may supervise an Administrative Assistant. Direct supervision comes from the Regional Manager.
This position will be filled by a current, permanent, classified LDVA employee.

As a Veterans Assistance Supervisor, you'll help create a positive experience for every person who walks through our doors. In this role, you will:
Appointment Type: Promotional, open only to current permanent classified LDVA employees.
Career Progression: This position does not participate in CPG.
Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Compensation: The starting pay for this position is $26.05/hr. (Special Entrance Rate); $2.00 work incentive pay (premium pay) upon completion of TRIPS Certification.
