Job summary

The Gary Sinise Foundation is seeking a Reunion Coordinator to support veterans, first responders, and families of the fallen by coordinating reunions from planning through completion. You will build relationships with recipients and unit representatives, ensuring compassionate, high‑quality experiences and timely communications.

You will guide committees through requirements, manage logistics, travel, and documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to align with the Foundation's mission

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant professional experience.
• 1-3 years of nonprofit, public service or event coordination experience.
• Prior service or connection to veterans or first responders strongly preferred.
• On-site role at the Franklin, TN headquarters; 8am–5pm CST.
• Travel up to 30%, with occasional nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with veterans, first responders, families of the fallen, and other program recipients.
• Provide guidance and respond to recipient questions with empathy and sound judgment.
• Guide unit representatives and planning committees through reunion requirements and timelines.
• Coordinate approved reunions from planning through completion, ensuring all logistics and communications.
• Offer ongoing hands-on support to planning committees and participants.
• Monitor activities and report updates to the Reunion Manager.
• Coordinate event logistics, materials, shipments, and communications for participants.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to support recipient engagement and program initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external organizations and partners.
• Support outreach to raise awareness of Foundation programs.
• Track activities, expenses, and outcomes and prepare recurring reports.
