Job summary

United Way of Northeast Florida seeks a detail-oriented program operations and administrative coordinator to support Mission United's veteran services. The role focuses on intake coordination, documentation, and coordinating referrals to ensure smooth program delivery.

The ideal candidate will manage calendars, prepare reports, assist with onboarding, and maintain confidential records while aligning with grant requirements and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in related field.
• Experience in nonprofit or government admin preferred.
• Knowledge of grant requirements and confidentiality standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary intake coordinator for veteran service requests across the Mission United area.
• Coordinate daily program operations and manage deadlines and communication platforms.
• Maintain audit-ready administrative systems, files, templates, and reference materials.
• Create and update intake forms, workflows, checklists, and operational tools.
• Coordinate meetings, calendars, agendas, logistics, and internal/external activities.
• Draft professional correspondence, meeting summaries, and program reports.
• Support onboarding activities for new team members and access to systems.
