Job summary

MRG Exams is seeking a qualified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to perform independent medical assessments for veterans. This non-treating role reviews medical records, conducts evaluations, and completes VA DBQs through a secure online portal to support disability determinations.

The position is part-time, one day per week, focusing on efficient, thorough documentation and timely submission of findings while maintaining high quality and objectivity for veteran clients.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed PM&R physician and perform independent medical assessments (non-treating).
• Ability to analyze and synthesize comprehensive medical records.

Responsibilities

• Review veterans' medical records in a secure portal.
• Conduct non-treating assessments and document current health conditions.
• Complete and submit VA DBQs per VA templates.
• Ensure DBQs are thorough, accurate, and submitted within 24 hours.
• Assess up to four veterans daily.
