Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks participants for the Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship CoHort 25.1 in Provo, UT & Columbus, OH.

This 12-week program provides hands-on experience in day-to-day Supply Chain operations within our division, including P&L oversight, customer satisfaction, and safety compliance. You will work with senior management to meet client needs, analyze profitability, and lead teams while gaining exposure to a Fortune 500 logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Transitioning service member fellows must be within 180 days of transition from military service at the time of the 12-week program.
• Currently participating in DoD Skillbridge program through the Hiring Our Heroes Fellowship.
• Three (3) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field preferred.
• Two (2) years or more managing and leading direct reports preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the performance of salaried and hourly employees under supervision; resolve performance issues and ensure policy compliance.
• Collaborate with senior management and customers to determine needs and operate the account accordingly.
• Analyze weekly/monthly P&L to assess profitability and provide data and reports to leadership.
• Hold Safety & Security meetings and provide safety training; ensure regulatory compliance.
